Showcasing dozens of Chicago’s favorite flavors, Taste of Chicago will be returning this year with food and music events in July. This outdoor food festival is free-admission but tickets for food and beverages are sold in strips of 14 for $10. There will be an estimated 30-40 eateries participating this year.
Each year, Taste of Chicago presents a mix of different artists at the Petrillo Music Shell. You can grab a free seat in the lawn or buy tickets for a seat in the outdoor amphitheater. You can also enjoy rides like the Ferris wheel. According to a Feb. 3 article on NBC Chicago, this year’s festival is said to return to a similar format to before the pandemic.
The annual lakefront extravaganza will take place July 8-10 in Grant Park with pop-up events on June 11, 18, and 25 in various Chicago spots. The neighborhoods which will host the one-day-pop-ups include Austin, Pullman, and Little Village. It’s the perfect opportunity to get a taste of many restaurants in Chicago.
