Freshman entrance exam

Bishop Noll looks to welcome its largest group of prospective student testers in recent years.

Saturday, January 7th, Bishop Noll hosted its second entrance exam and the last entrance exam for students to be considered for scholarships.

`Director of Admissions, Mrs. Repay, who is in charge of carrying out/ helping prospective students register for the entrance exam gave insight on the freshmen for the 2017-2018 school year.

Repay is quoted as saying, “193 students signed up to take the exam and 191 students actually took it.”

According to Repay, “The entrance exam is updated every year.”

For prospective students who do not really do well with test, it may be comforting to know that, according to Repay, “The entrance exam is not a pass or fail kind of test. This exam, past grades, academic history, previous behavior, and the letter of recommendation all determines your entrance and the grade level you are placed in for Bishop Noll.”

The previous exam was the last opportunity to be considered for the entrance exam scholarship. Lucky there will be another entrance exam in the spring because “we still have students wanting to join the warrior family.”
