The most precious diamonds sometimes are found in the deepest of roughs. Once you remove the dirt and clean off the debris you begin to marvel at its true value. On Bishop Noll’s baseball diamond there is also another hidden gem, senior Jaylen Yarbrough. Of course you have Indiana University’s signee Larry Crisler, and Blackhawk’s College Angel Figueroa; but let’s take the time to appreciate our Chicago State’s signee Mr. Yarborough.
Jaylen Yarborough is a senior left fielder for our Warrior’s baseball team. He has played varsity baseball for Noll all four of his high school years. He has been apart of four consecutive conference teams and (three) sectional teams. Jaylen has the reputation for being one of the fastest men in the school and when he gets on base be prepared for him to steal a few.
The Lady Gaga fanatic is all about winning and doing whatever it takes to help his team win. Coming in at 5’7 Jaylen Yarborough shows that heart is over height.
