Band Columbus Day Parade

The Bishop Noll marching band participated in Chicago’s annual Columbus Day parade on Monday, October 14. The parade was broadcasted on Chicago’s ABC 7.

The Bishop Noll Band and cheerleaders were a part of over 150 units that make up the parade.

The band showed patriotism through an America inspired performance. The band marched down Chicago streets playing “Captain America”, “Thor’s Hammer,” and the hook for “A Feeling.”

Jilsuri Hernandez, senior, describes the experience, “I loved being able to visit the beautiful city of Chicago and experience the parade first hand. It was such a great experience, getting to meet and play with other bands and interact with other students who love doing what we love to do. The experience was unique and unforgettable.”
