From now until February 3rd, the Center for Visual and Performing Arts gallery in Munster will display the photography exhibit, “It’s Only Rock and Roll, But I Like It.” The exhibit is originally from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.
“It’s Only Rock and Roll, But I Like It,” features about a hundred photos of music from over five decades, 1969 to 2006, from photographers Janet Macoska and Anastasia Pantsios. Many well known artists such as Paul Mccartney, Freddie Mercury, and Michael Jackson are in this exhibit. Both Macoska and Pantsios have been considered rock photography pioneers, with their work exhibited in many music publications, including Rolling Stone.
