Bishop Noll will be hosting a winter Christmas choir and band concert on Dec. 15 at 6 P.M. This concert will feature traditional holiday music, as well as popular tunes. The band will also be planning on having a Spaghetti Dinner prior to the concert. The dinner will take place from 3:30-5 P.M, and the cost is $7.
The band will plan on playing “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree”, “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas”, and “White Christmas”. Mr. Rocco Carioto, band director, also decided to throw in a classical piece.
“I always want to include a classical piece of music so our students are exposed to the great music of the past,” said Carioto.
The choir will plan to sing “This Christmas,” “Masters in This Hall,” “You’ll Be In My Heart,” “I’ll Be There” by the Jackson 5, and songs from the musical Godspell. Choir director Mr. David Herr is expecting a big, fun-filled event. This concert is a celebration of Bishop Noll’s Fine Arts program, and how much it has improved over the past few years.
“We are anticipating a truly magical and fun-filled evening,” Herr said.
