Stine has a secret he tries to keep hidden from the world. His books are inspired by real monsters who have been locked away in his books. However Zach is not aware of this as he opens the books and frees them from their prisons. Together Zach, Hannah, and Stine work together to put the monsters back in their books.

The movie features a good variety of monsters from the ‘Goosebumps” series. The animation for the characters is done fairly well the giant preying mantis was interesting.  The movie has had a fair amount of positive reviews. However, the main complaint about the story is that too many storylines are crossing each other. Others might deem it too scary, but for those that grew up with the Goosebumps series, it’s a great movie that can take you down memory lane.
