Amazon released the fire stick in September of 2014. The fire stick allows you to watch movies and tv shows off of your Amazon account. Since this release more people are opting for fire sticks vs cable.

On Amazon’s website fire sticks cost $39.99. It would make the perfect gift or just something for the family. We asked teacher Karen Fitzgerald how she got her fire stick, and she told us how you enjoyed the concept of it.” I was paying $250+ for my basic cable, when the fire stick allows me to stream things for free.”

The Amazon fire stick allows you to watch Netflix, Hulu, watch movies off of amazon prime, YouTube, listen to the radio, as well as play games it is pan all in one system. Since you can do this all with one remote it is convenient and easier to access. “I like that you can watch all movies. Especially ones in theaters because it is so expensive to go now a days,” said Fitzgerald.

With all good things there are drawbacks. Some movies you will have to pay for as well as some games. “ It can be hard to find the specific movie you are looking for in a good quality,” said Fitzgerald

“I would definitely recommend it the Amazon Fire stick to someone else, as well as the fire box which has more storage.”
