On January 10th Krispy Kreme opened its doors once again in the Chicagoland area. The new location, located at Homewood at 17815. S. Halsted Street, opened up on the right foot. The first dozen customers of the new location received a coupon for a dozen of free glazed donuts every week for the rest of the year. While the 13th through 100th customers received a free dozen every month for the year. Customers from all around gathered in front of the new location in tents waiting for the doors to open just to have a chance at those amazing deals.

On opening day, just to get up to the drive through one had to wait approximately 3 hours waiting in a traffic line wrapped all the way around the location. Three hours was worth taking home three to six dozens of those hot and fresh delicious Krispy Kreme glazed donuts. The region is excited to welcome back the franchise and hope they keep their glazing machine going as long as possible! The location will be open daily from 6a.m to 11pm while also having a 24 hour drive through.

Tired of Munster donut always being driven into? Tired of stale Dunkin’ Donuts sweets? This new Krispy Kreme might be the answer to all the region’s late night sweet tooth cravings.
