Don’t walk, RUN to the free concerts that the Festival of The Lakes provide in the Pavilion in Hammond, Indiana during July 13-17. The Fest will be 5 days long and give us new performers each night.
For this Summer the Fest will feature Toby Keith to start off the first day. The band who came up with the famous,“Sweet home Alabama”, Lynyrd Skynyrd, will be performing also on Friday the 15th. They haven’t released who will perform on the weekend of the Fest, but what we can expect it would be a rapper or hip hop artist with all these country folk singers that we know that are to show up.
Food trucks will drive inside the park for customers to be able to enjoy fair food at its finest. But wait half an hour after eating so you can have a thrill of riding the crazy huge sickening thrilling rides that will be there.
The Fest will begin on July 13th, and end on the 17th. Anyone may attend as long as they do not bring prohibited items onto the festival and keep in check with the festival guidebook. Tickets will be sold or guests can buy a mega pass in city hall or wherever they sell it in Hammond Indiana. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the festival’s park will open gates at 5:00pm. On Saturday and Sunday the parks door’s will open at noon.
