On Saturday, Oct. 15, Drama club members held a fundraiser centered around Disney, Marvel, and Star Wars characters.

Club members dressed up as characters and invited parents and children alike to dress up as their favorite Disney characters in attendance of this event. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children.

According to Mrs. Kayla Konkle, drama club sponsor, 25 students participated in the event and 70 guests showed up.

“The new 2022-2023 Drama Board came up with the idea,” Konkle said. “They wanted to do something a little different from a typical fundraiser. We already did a bake sale so it was time to mix it up and try something new!”

The event lasted from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and had six stations that the children would rotate through. These activities included arts and crafts, a color corner, face painting, sword fighting with noodles, a games corner, and story time.

The money raised from this event will go towards costumes and props for the upcoming Fall Play Eurydice.
