This summer, Bishop Noll students will get a chance to take a trip to China by attending the Chinese Bridge-Summer Camp for U.S. high school students from July 16-31. Participants will spend most of the time in Beijing, but they will also travel to other provinces in groups. Students who attend will get a chance to experience China’s culture, get a chance to learn the Chinese language as well as speak it with a few Chinese students, and participate in many outdoor activities.
The program is sponsored by the Confucius Institute Headquarters, and they will cover the cost of food, accommodation, and group activities for the students. Travelers will be responsible for international travel fees, international insurance, and visa application fees.
Upon arrival, students will get to participate in cultural activities and travel to different parts of China to experience the culture.
Only Bishop Noll students have signed up to travel to China this summer, but more are encouraged to go. Enrollment in a Chinese class is not a requirement. If interested in going to China, please see Mrs. Niu.
