Bishop Noll’s prom scheduled for May 5, 2018 is already generating excitement among the junior and senior classes.

The theme for this year’s prom will be “A Night at Gatsby’s” and will be held at The Center for Visual and Performing Arts in Munster. According to prom sponsor, Mrs. Jennifer Florek, the prom committee wanted something different as the theme and a lot of seniors requested it.

“They wanted an old Hollywood feel and chose this specific theme because they liked the classiness of it.”

An old Hollywood theme concentrates on the colors gold, black and red. The prom committee is making sure they have everything in check for the theme. They also want people to add a little bit of the theme in the clothes they wear.

Ever After Events will be handling everything such as decorations, the photobooth and the DJ service. Florek said the committee chose their venue because it was very elegant and goes well with the 1920s theme.

“The architecture and the chandeliers are beautiful there they also have excellent food. Whoever attends the prom will have their choice of chicken parmesan and veggie lasagna.”

The committee advertised prom with posters and custom invitations. The bids cost $60 for singles and $115 per couples.

“The Prom Committee has worked really hard and shown a lot of enthusiasm for this year’s prom. They have a lot of great ideas! It should be a beautiful and fun party with a few surprises,” Florek said.
