On November 19, Mrs. Klara Huss’s Spanish 2 courses will be attending a field trip to the Art Institute of Chicago.

     According to Huss, the goal of the field trip is for the students to go through intensive investigation of subject matter, artistic styles, techniques, and they will discuss historical and cultural changes in Spain. 

     Mrs. Huss expressed that “Art is a tool for cross cultural conversation, and also a great instrument of social and emotional learning.”

   The collection of the Art Institute of Chicago encompasses more than 5,000 years of human expression from cultures around the world and contains more than 300,000 works of art in 11 curatorial departments.
