With the basketball season just tipping off, the team has to start without one of their key starter upperclassmen guards. Junior James Nabors is sitting out due to a nagging leg injury, causing him to get surgery.
With Nabors being out until he’s fully recovered, other guards like seniors Jasinto Carter, Ryan Neal, and sophomores Roman Penn and Kodi Greenwell replace him in his time out.
Nabors plans to go down the path of physical therapy to help his recovery. As it’s going to take time for this injury to heal, fans wonder if he’ll play this season, or at least in sectionals.
Nabors plans to take his injury healing process slowly, but would like to be back in time for the game against Marquette Catholic on Jan. 10. In the time being, James will be supporting his teammates every game cheering them on from the sideline.
