Bishop Noll first baseman Ryan Reeder has decided to continue his baseball career at Wabash college. Reeder is a two-year varsity baseball player who is one of the main pieces of a potent Warrior offense.
“My batter’s eye has drastically improved, which helps me to get on base at a consistent rate. This is something that I hope to continue to improve on as I play in college,” Reeder says.
Wabash, a Division III program located in Crawfordsville, Indiana, is a prestigious institution both academically and athletically. Because they are a Division III program, Wabash does not offer athletic scholarships, but Reeder did receive a $17,500 academic scholarship. This is a testament to his hard work in not only baseball, but also in the classroom. Ryan Reeder’s advice for anyone looking to play college baseball: try to get as much exposure as you can in high school so colleges have you on their radar.
