The Blackhawks Have Another Great Season

Lucas Glazewski, Staff Reporter

As the Chicago Blackhawks season starts to come to an end, they have had an absolute terrific season again. They’re currently in second place, a couple games behind the Minnesota Wild. The team leaders, Patrick Kane, and Jonathan Toews are currently the team leading scorers and in the top ten for the “Hart Memorial Trophy”, also known as the NHL MVP. The Blackhawks have officially earned themselves a spot in the Playoffs, and are hopefully ready to bring home another Stanley Cup championship.

The Blackhawks only have about a month left until the playoffs arrive. They have had an excellent season with a record of 30-14. Their only competition so far is the Minnesota Wild, and The Montreal Canadians, who are both in first place of their division. Otherwise, the Blackhawks have beaten them more than twice this season, and are prepared to do so again. If they pull off a win, this will be the fourth Stanley cup in a decade, becoming the second team to ever do so.
