Six Bishop Noll freshmen have been added to Noll’s 2020-2021 roster, ushering in a whole new slew of young hockey players hungry for a taste of the State championship ring.

Freshmen Kyle Cipowski, Julian Orozco, Christian Plemons, Ethan Rapacz, and Erik Shelton chose to enroll at Noll with hopes to play on the 3-time State championship team.

“The first day I walked into the locker room, I felt comfortable and at home with everyone, which motivated me to pick Bishop Noll,” Orozco said. “I’ve played for a long time so I feel like I have to play for as long as I can. I hope to play a full season.”

Orozco, who has played hockey for 11 years, is no greenhorn to the game.

“I’m really excited to play junior varsity and varsity, because I can show more people what I can actually do,” he said.

This is Kyle Cipowski’s first time playing on a school team.

“I think the season will be successful, if we play to the best of our ability,” said Cipowski, who is a forward.

Hoping to secure a W-filled season with the hockey team, Cipowski is elated with the Hockey Team’s own rink.

“I am excited to have our own rink,” he said. “We can do so much.”

Cipowski mentioned that several members of his family have also played for Noll’s Hockey team.

“Not only did my dad play on the team, but so did my three uncles. I plan on playing for my whole high school career as well.”
