After being canceled due to the school’s late start in the second semester, the Snowball dance has been rescheduled for Feb. 22.
As a turnabout dance, it is tradition for the girls to ask the boys out to the dance.
“When I asked Aaron Kruse to the dance in 3rd hour, Mr. Laspesa seemed more nervous about it than I was that day,” senior Sienna Gonzalez said.
Gonzalez asked her date to the dance using a powerpoint presentation in the middle of her Theology class.
Students are encouraged to uphold the “turnabout” theme of the dance participating in a contest to see which girls can ask out their dates in the most creative way. The winner of the contest will receive two free admission tickets to the dance. Winners will be announced next week.
