Megan Sullivan, freshman, has been playing soccer since she was four, almost eleven years. As she grew up, she watched her brother senior Mark Sullivan play soccer and it inspired her to excel in her skills as a soccer player.
She is a team player that believes their team is going to succeed greatly. So far, Sullivan has scored 2 goals and hopes to make more.
“I believe our #1 strength that most teams do not have is heart. We show up to practice everyday ready to work and do everything we can to become better players. We put in so much effort and really gel as a team on and off the field. Our teamwork and effort is what really makes us a threat.” said Sullivan.
Sullivan currently plays midfield for Bishop Noll, along with playing club ball in the spring.
According to Sullivan, “Playing other sports has definitely helped me grow as a soccer player. Track is awesome for me to keep my conditioning up for the constant running up and down the field during a game. Basketball has made me a more aggressive athlete all together.”
Sullivan says soccer is her strongest sport, she feels a driven and confident while playing. Sullivan believes that at each game, the team is improving. She goes by what head coach Aaron Payonk says: “A team with heart and effort can beat the most skilled players in the world as long as they give it their all and work together.”
