As a senior in highschool James Nabors has played basketball for Noll for all his four years. For the next step he knew that he needed to do something big.
“Deciding what school I want to attend after high school is tough but I have narrowed the list down to a few school which include, Indiana University Northwest, Purdue Calumet, Thomas More University, and Marian University, and Wisconsin. I want to find a school where I can stay and grow the next 4 years.” Nabors said.
“High School has prepared me is my mindset about the game. Just knowing that I always have to be in the gym working hard. Also, the coaching staff that we had this past year was full of coaches that played college basketball. They would always tell me that at the next level there are no excuses and you have to be ready to give 100% everyday.” Nabors says.
While he attends classes in college he wants to pursue a career in Criminal Justice(Law Enforcement).
“My ultimate goal is to first be a part of a program that I will grow with and be apart of. Another goal is to just get better as a player and student of the game I love. I also want to be out there on the court helping my team in anyway to win. But my number 1 goal is to dunk somebody that is 6’5 or taller.”
While in High School Nabors averaged 8.3 points, 3.2 assists, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals.
