On Wednesday September 21, Mrs. Rosalie Schmidt’s 4th hour AP Environmental Science class welcomed Terry Murphy, a 1975  alum, to speak to the students about his time here at Bishop Noll, what he did after graduating and his time with Nasa. Ms. Schmidt hoped the students received a better understanding for the need to not only harness energy, but to also save for later use.

“I enjoyed how personal it was. He spoke about his time in captivity, and it made me appreciate the good things that have happened to me. He almost died a few time; it makes me feel appreciative for the way my life is. I just loved how raw he was with us. He didn’t hold back.”  Said Junior Caitlyn Grcich
