Smooth coffee, hot sandwiches, and artisan pastries all make Sip Coffee House into a bustling new business in downtown Highland, located at 2815 Jewett Avenue between the Primitive Peddler Antique Store and Miles Books. Sip, which also boasts a downtown Crown Point location has brought together both coffee and food lovers alike.

Sip, which opened March 7, has brought enormous revenue and interest to Highland. Between its key location in downtown Highland to its hipster-esque vibe, it has quickly become a hot spot for the young and the young at heart.

Sip boasts a large and a relatively cheap menu, breakfast costing on average $5 and lunch/dinner costing about $8 plus the cost of drinks. The cheap menu and artisan inspired, internationally-integrated food brings large crowds, with peak times being about five in the afternoon on weekdays and two in the afternoon on weekends. Sip can hold about seventy people and even offers a loft for private parties or gatherings.

Sip also showcases original artwork from local artists that are for sale. With couches set carefully against the walls and tables centered just right for friends to gather around with warm food and interesting stories, Sip is just right for everyone from lawyers and doctors to teenagers looking to spend time with their friends. The comfortable hometown atmosphere and down-to-earth staff makes Sip the newest and hottest place to be in the Region.
