Noll House charity returns to meet goal of $4500

Bishop Noll’s spring charity drive, Noll House, has returned. The charity raises money for Food for the Poor, an international relief fund that builds houses in 17 countries.
“ I want our school to raise enough money to build the home. I don’t want to come close to making a family’s dream come true. I want to exceed those expectations,” said Mrs. Colie Zwierz, who is the sophomore class sponsor.
Although not every student has large amounts of money to donate, Zwierz believes that every little bit can make a difference towards achieving the goal of making a family’s dream come true. Last year, the Noll House charity was able to tally a total of $4200, raising the goal this year to $4500.
“This is a great opportunity for our students to give to the less fortunate. The fact that we wake up every day with a roof over our heads and clean water to drink is not something that everyone has,” said Zwierz.
