Hispanic club

Seniors Jacqueline Garcia and Lislet Munoz, with the help of her sponsors Mr.Eloy Melero, math teacher, Mrs. Mayra Quiroz, guidance counselor, and Mrs. Elizabeth Hernandez, secretary, are creating a Hispanic club.

This isn’t the only culture group at Bishop Noll. The Black Student Union is in its 3rd year of activity.

“We plan to do many activities and fundraisers, as well as attend many different kinds of cultural events,” Garcia said. “Later on in the school year we plan to do something with the black student union as well.”

With other culture groups like the Black Student Union, there must be things that set the Hispanic Club apart from these other clubs.

“I think all of these clubs have many great things, but I believe that the Hispanic Student Union will offer the opportunity to learn more about Hispanic culture,” Garcia said.

“We plan on doing cultural activities, collaborating with restaurants, and attending events such as parades and fiestas.” Said senior, Lislet Munoz. “We also plan on hosting fundraisers, learning about our hispanic roots and traditions, and so much more!”

If you are interested in joining this group, contact Jackie Garcia or Lislet Munoz.

“Our meetings are every Friday in room 203/205,” she said. “They can also contact me, Lislet, or Mr.Melero to join the google classroom.” Said Garcia
